Optional (not included): Visit to the Boboli Gardens

• It is possible to visit the Boboli Gardens located behind Pitti Palace.

The garden was first cared for by the Medici family and became, as it still is today, the symbol of the Italian garden. The tourist who visits these gardens is fascinated by its statues and caves that make it a real open-air museum. It is possible to add this visit when booking the tour.

Vinci and the Leonardian Museum

• After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to VINCI for an individual visit to the Leonardian Museum.

We will admire the models rebuilt to realize the designs of the machines conceived by the Genius, which give us an idea of ​​his profound multifaceted flair. From Vinci it is possible to visit Leonardo’s birthplace in Anchiano, a 15th century farmhouse immersed in a landscape of vineyards and olive groves. Leonardo’s house is connected to the Borgo of Vinci by the so-called Green Road, an ancient path of 3 km that can be traveled on foot, part of the Association Case della Memoria and Leonardo’s museum itinerary. • After breakfast at the hotel, transfer to Arezzo by train, arrival and accommodation in the L’Aretino hotel or similar. Transfer from Arezzo station to the hotel not included.

• Entrance and visit to the Museum of the Bridge of Gioconda which collects anastatic copies of manuscripts, documents, historical texts, captions, notes but also drawings, maps, paintings, models, all related to Leonardo’s stay in Arezzo. A computerized and multimedia system will complete the interactive access to various informative material (images, videos, three-dimensional animations).

Afternoon: free time for individual visit of Arezzo whose historical center is full of buildings, artistic works and extraordinary masterpieces

• Dinner free, return individually to the hotel and overnight stay in Arezzo

Visit to the Mona Lisa Bridge

• After breakfast at the hotel, transfer by private car to the places where Leonardo created some of his masterpieces, “go behind Mona Lisa’s back, travelling in an evocative way, to the places that Leonardo made sublime in this universally famous painting.

Visit to the Mona Lisa Bridge to admire the bridge that is still as Leonardo painted it and visit the places that have been the background to other masterpieces of the artist such as The Madonna dei Fusi, La Sant’Anna and the famous Map of the Valdichiana preserved in London at the Windsor Museum.
